True Competitors is a 501 (c)(3) charity organization that connects sick children in hospitals with professional athletes and sports organizations to bring joy and support through the power of sports.

Being in the hospital at a young age can be a scary, lonely and intimidating experience. We hope to ease those issues by providing programs dedicated to connecting these young people with their athletic heroes. Sports has a unique ability to bring people together during tough times and we use that power to deliver support and joy not only to young people, but their families as well.

We believe that an experience for a sick child to meet their favorite athlete can be a life-changing opportunity and that is what drives us each and every day.

As our world changes and technology becomes a part of our everyday lives, we have adapted our programs to fit those needs. Both hospitalized children and professional athletes often times have conflicting schedules and in-person hospital visits are few and far between.

Our main program, the True Competitors Mobile App, will provide an opportunity for children to interact with their athletic heroes regardless of location. We will use this app along with the True Competitors Match program to grow and facilitate these positive relationships!
